The Hollywood Ten

The project is for an art show titles:"Hollywood Disasters" Created 2 posters based on the" Hollywood Ten" in the fifties. "Many of the Hollywood Ten writers continued producing screenplays under assumed names after they were blacklisted. Using the pseudonym Robert Rich, Dalton Trumbo penned the script for "The Brave One," which earned an Academy Award for Best Screenplay in 1957."

I created the images for a show few years ago. The subject of the art show was "Hollywood Disasters" . I collected images from archives and online and used Adobe photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. The subject is the "Black List" or as some people called it the "Hollywood Ten". To give it a non-digital effect I glued the printed images on wood and painted on it with Acrylic. (not-seen in the image here).
